hey there! thanks for installing to kindle. i'm super excited to show you how you can use it to read web articles on your kindle device.
and, bouns! the "to kindle" android app is out now! you can download it from the google play store
new feature: you can now send pdfs to your kindle device in a single click, checkout the extension for a new button!
so, how do you use this thing?
the extension uses your kindle device's email to send articles to your kindle.
- first, you need to add me (toKindle@icloud.com) to your list of approved email addresses in your amazon account click here to learn how to do it.
- next, open the extension and add your kindle's email address. i'll store it safely in your browser's local storage and my database so that you don't have to enter it every time.
- now, right click on any page and click on "to kindle" to send the article to your kindle
- oh, and one more thing:
- click on the to kindle icon in your chrome toolbar/extension bar.
- press the "download article" button to extract and download the article (epub) from the current page.
